The client file never leaves the machine.
Every tool here runs inside the browser tab. The document is read and written on your own computer, so there is no copy on a server to retain, disclose or account for. That is the whole product, and it is the reason this page exists.
What actually leaves the machine?
The file, nothing. No upload, no temporary copy, no processing queue. The tool code is already in the tab before you choose a file, which is also why the tools keep working with the network switched off.
What is still transmitted?
The licence check, once, when you redeem a pass. That carries a key and a timestamp. It does not carry a filename, a document, or anything from inside one.
Why does this matter more here than in other jobs?
Because a client file is not yours. Sending it to a third party creates a transfer you then have to be able to describe — to the client, to your insurer, and to whoever asks. A tool with no transfer has nothing to describe.
Do I have to change how the firm works?
No. Same files, same folder, same browser. The difference is the file is opened by the tab rather than sent to a company.
What does it cost?
$39 a month for five seats, $149 for twenty. One key per firm, redeemed in each person's own browser. No per-document metering.
Is there a trial?
Yes — 3 free actions a month with no account, which is enough to test the thing that matters: switch off the wifi after the page loads and watch it still work.
- Firms that need a full document management system with matter filing and a conflict check — this is a set of tools, not a DMS
- Anyone who needs a qualified electronic signature under eIDAS — the signature here is drawn or typed, not a QTSP seal
- Firms whose IT policy requires an ISO 27001 certificate from every supplier. There is no certificate here, and the argument on this page does not replace one
- No audit trail. The signature is applied to the file; there is no server record of who signed and when. If you need that record, this is the wrong tool and saying so is cheaper than finding out later
- No qualified or advanced electronic signature. It is a visible signature on a page, not a cryptographic seal
- No case management integration, no Outlook add-in, no shared matter folder
- Redaction removes the drawn area from the page. It is not a review of every layer of the file — check the result before it goes out, as you would with any tool
- Very large files are bounded by the browser, not by us. A 400 MB scan may fail where a server would not
- No admin console. One key, and no view of what each person did with it

Every figure above was read on the competitor's own page. If one has moved since, it moved — the argument does not depend on the number.
Open any tool, let the page finish loading, then turn the wifi off and use it. If it still works, the file never left the machine. That is the whole test, and you can run it in ninety seconds without an account.
